Obituary
Eloise Jeffries, 84, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 9:50 P.M. at Fair Oaks Health and Rehab in Jamestown.
She was born October 10, 1938, in Adair County, to the late Robert and Bessie Edwards Pickett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Guidell Lee Jeffries, a daughter, Lois Jean Helm and a sister, Norma Jean Cowan.
Eloise was a member of Living By Faith Community Church, a former merchant, loved her Kentucky Wildcats and was well known for her concessions stand at the Adair County Fair.
Survivors include:
One daughter and son-in-law – Barbara and Wayne Melton of Glens Fork
One son and daughter-in-law – Danny and Vicky Jeffries of Columbia
One sister and brother-in-law – Joyce and Shaw Rowe of Columbia
Four grandchildren – Chris Melton, Patrick Jeffries, Ashley Jeffries Harrison and Colby Jeffries
Six great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, several other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Sunday, July 9, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Withers officiating
Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery
Visitation after 9:00 A.M. Sunday
