Fred Miller

Fred Miller age 78 of Columbia, Kentucky passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025 at his home. He was born to the late Raymond and Mary McCarthy Miller on July 23, 1947 in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Columbia Christian Church. He was also a painter for John Wayne Airport in California for many years. He was united in marriage to Carol Miller on February 21, 1969. He is preceded in death by one son: Shannon Miller; one brother Glenn Miller and special friend Jessie Loy.

Besides his wife, survivors include:

Daughter- Lisa Stone (Jason) of Columbia

Son-in-law- Matthew Calvert of Columbia

Grandchildren- Brittani Downs (Christopher), Katelyn Calvert, Sarah Calvert, and Stephanie Calvert

Two brothers-in-law - Pat Link and Ken Grant both of Michigan

Special friend- Danny Propes

Funeral service – Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. John Davis and Bro. Adam Shepard officiating.

Visitation is requested Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M.

The family has requested expressions of sympathy may be in the form of donations to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and these can be made at the funeral home.
