Harold Mitchum “Mitch” Harvey, 71, of Smiths Grove, Kentucky, formerly of Columbia, died Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 8:20 P.M. at the Medical Center in Bowling Green

He was born October 13, 1942, in Adair Co., to the late Harold Reece & Sarah Helen Mitchum Harvey.  He was a former businessman, operating a towing business, an avid Harley Davidson Motorcycle enthusiast and an avid NASCAR fan.

Survivors include:
His former wife – Nancy Harvey of Stuart, Florida
Two daughters – Keirsten Jaggers of Smiths Grove, Leah (Travis) Conklin of Bowling Green
Two grandchildren – Jared Madison of Boston, MA, Vivien Conklin of Bowling Green
Three sisters – Diane (Phillip) Burris of Tuscola, IL, Wanda Watson & Elaine Thomas both of Louisville
Several other relatives & friends also survive
He was preceded in death by two brothers; Daryl & Tony Harvey

Funeral service – Friday, June 20, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home

Visitation after 4:30 P.M. Thursday

At Mitch’s request, cremation has been chosen for final disposition
