Helen Sneed

Helen Sneed, 79 of Columbia, KY, died Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at her home.

She was born August 16, 1944, in Adair County to the late Henry and Beulah Bragg Compton.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Sneed, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Carol Compton and Sue and Robbie McAllister.   Helen was an in-home caregiver and owned and operated an auction house.

Survivors include:

Four nephews – Neal Sneed of Columbia, Gerald and Kay Sneed and Kay’s brother Timothy James of Russell Springs, Randall and Amanda Sneed of Columbia and Gary (Tiny) Sneed and Jenny Holtzclaw of Columbia

A host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
