Helen Louise Butler, 76, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Saturday, September 17, 2022 at TJ Health/Columbia Emergency Room.
She was born May 6, 1946, in Cane Valley, Kentucky, to the late William Elza and Lonetta Thomas Humphress. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Wallace Humphress, Joe Humphress, Wayne Humphress and Billy Humphress.
Louise was a member of Egypt Christian Church serving in several capacities and a member of the ladies group W.I.N.G.S. She was employed at People’s Loan Company for 30 years and then drove a school bus for the Adair County School System for 13 years.

One daughter – Angie Yates (Clayton Hadley) of Columbia
One sister – Mary Hamilton (James) of Beason, Illinois
Two grandchildren – Erin Brockman (Dustin) and Cody Yates both of Columbia
One sister-in-law - Cathy Catron of Columbia
One step-great-grandchild – Skye Brockman
A special grandchild – Brittany Snow of Columbia

Funeral service – Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Egypt Christian Church with Bro. Paul Patton officiating
Burial in Columbia Cemetery
Visitation after 4:00 P.M. Monday and from 6:00 A.M. until 7:30 A.M. Tuesday at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home and after 8:00 A.M. Tuesday at Egypt Christian Church
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to the W.I.N.G.S. which can be left at the funeral home or church
