Houston Price

Houston Price, 89, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Monday, October 10, 2022 at 1:00 A.M. at The Grandview Nursing & Rehab in Campbellsville

He was born December 18, 1932, in Adair County, to the late German and Ruby Calhoun Price. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Estellene Hancock and his brother, Claude Price.

He served in the U.S. Army as a Medic in the 5th Army Infantry from February 1953 thru February 1955.  He retired from Reynolds Metals in Louisville and finished his life farming in Columbia.  He attended Shiloh Christian Church.

His wife – Flossie Akin Price of Columbia

One son – Dennis Ray Price of Columbia

One daughter – Melanie Ann Ohlmann of Louisville

Four grandchildren – Amy Rowe (Michael), Meggin Yates (Dennis), Zachary Ohlmann (Jennifer) and Jarred Ohlmann (Ashley)

Seven great-grandchildren – Tyler Rowe, Abby Rowe, Molly Hadley, Grant, Brooks, Annabelle and Hattie Ohlmann

The funeral service and visitation will be Private with burial in Shiloh Cemetery
