Ida Lynn Shearer

Ida Lynn Shearer, 55, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 2:10 A.M. at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

She was born August 28, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late David Lee and Charlotte Kay Tackett Shearer.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sherry Shearer. 

Ida was a member of Sparksville Baptist Church, a U.S. Navy Veteran and a Mental Health Therapist.

Survivors include:

Her D’Niece – Stephanie Yates (Tyler) of Lebanon

Her Granddaughter – Carlee Gomez of Lebanon

Her brother – Tony Tackett (Laura) of Tennessee

Her sister – Kim Wood (Randy) of Edmonton

Nieces and nephew – Laura Beddow (Tyler), Joe Butler and Katherine Butler

Several other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Landis officiating

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery with full military honors presented by V.F. W. Post 6097

Visitation after 5:00 P.M. Monday
