James R. Morgan

James R. Morgan, 80, of Columbia, KY died on Friday, November 22, 2024 at his home.

He was born June 10, 1944 to the late James and Hallie Flatt Morgan.  James was an oil well driller and attended Amazing Grace Church and Living by Faith Church.

Survivors include:

His wife – Cathy Morgan of Columbia

One son – James Chad Morgan (Misty Nicole) of Columbia

Three daughters – Judy Ann Rogers (Jeremy) of Florida, Cathy Jo Birdwell (Craig) and Amy Morgan Knipp (Wesley) all of Columbia

Three brothers – Reece Morgan, Ronnie Morgan and Larry Morgan all of Columbia

Three sisters – Rena Goodin of Columbia, Reba Morgan of Sadieville and Reda Morgan of Leesburg, FL

11grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, several other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Withers officiating

Burial in Union Cemetery

Visitation after 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday
