Jessie (Farris) Jones

Jessie Jones, 91, of Cane Valley, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Summit Manor Nursing Home

She was the daughter of the late Johnnie and Mollie Farris.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, SMSgt (Ret) Marcus Jones, three brothers, Edward Farris, Garnett Farris and Marvin Farris and one sister, Virginia Armstrong. 

She was a member of Cane Valley Christian Church, dedicated homemaker, supportive military spouse, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and ardent quilter.

Survivors include:

Two sons – COL (Ret) David Jones (Donna) of Cane Valley and COL (Ret) Brian Dennis Jones (Judy) of Forest Hill, Maryland

Six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren

Funeral service – Sunday, August 31, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Jodi Perkins officiating

Burial in Columbia Cemetery

Visitation after 10:00 A.M. Sunday

Casket Bearers – David Jones, Brandon Jones, Michael Jones, Stephen Jones, Bobby Jones, Stephanie Jones Maggin
