Jimmy R. Stephens, 82, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, died Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 12:41A.M. at his home

He was born June 2, 1943, in Russell County, to the late George and Fairlee Hopper Stephens. 

Jimmy retired from Ingersoll Rand and was a member of Calvary Temple Church.

Survivors include:

His wife – Wilma Scott Stephens of Campbellsville

Three sons – Gary Stephens of Russell Springs, Jeff Stephens (Rhonda) of Adair County and Gary Sneed of Columbia

One daughter – Joyce Kelly of Campbellsville

One brother – Elmer Stephens of Russell Springs

Two sisters – Clotene Estes and Kathleen Holt both of Eubank

Seven grandchildren and two step-grandchildren – Lori Hale, Tiffany Stephens, Jeffrey Stephens, Jr., Whitley Stephens, Hannah Stephens, Nichole Kelly, Michael Kelly, Nathan Parton and Shawn Parton

11 great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren – Madison Hale, Mason Hale, Julian Stephens, Ethan Stephens, Alavia Stephens, Jordan McDaniel, C.J. Stephens, Dakota McDaniel, Paisley McDaniel, Kadence Kelly, Kaley-ann Kelly, Jordan Orr and Gatlin Parton

Funeral service – Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. (Central Time) at Calvary Temple Church with Pastor Troy McWhorter and Bro. Rick Jordan officiating

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation after 4:00 P.M. Friday and from 7:00 A.M. until 9:00 A.M. Saturday at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home and after 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Calvary Temple Church (all times are Central Time)
