Joe Willis Bowe

Joe Willis Bowe, 85, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Monday, April 6, 2026, at V.A. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky

He was born September 8, 1940, in Adair County and was preceded in death by his father, Ruben Frazier and his mother, Mattie Eva Bowe.  Joe was a U.S. Army Veteran and had worked in construction.

Survivors include:

One son – Joe Willis Manderfield of Portland, Oregon

One brother – John Patterson of Canton, Georgia

Four sisters – Dessilean Carradine of Columbia, Avis Miller of Aurora, Illinois, Brenda Smith of Columbia, Alla Dean Walkup of Columbia

Special Friend – Sheryl Parmley of Burkesville

Three grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home

Burial in Allen Cemetery in Cumberland County

Visitation after 1:00 P.M. Saturday
