Joe Russell Grant, 78, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Saturday, September 24, 2022 at his home.

He was born December 1, 1943, to the late Joe Tom and Mildred Evelyn Bennett Grant. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters Thomasine Loy and Charlene Blair, and a brother, Donnie Grant . He worked many years for Osh Kosh B’Gosh.

One son – Tony Grant and wife Marian of Glensfork

One brother – Reid Grant and wife Bobbie of Glensfork

One grandchild – Chasity Dyer (Greg Parker) of Glasgow

One great-grandchild – Lena Bell Dyer of Glasgow

One step-great-grandchild – Austin Parker of Glasgow

Two brothers-in-law – Dean Blair of Greensburg and Hindman Loy of Shepherdsville

One sister-in-law – Rebecca Grant of Campbellsville

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grant Cemetery with Bro. Stanley Watson officiating.  There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Grant Cemetery which can be left at the graveside service or at the funeral home.
