John Lundy, 73, of Columbia, died Sunday, September 13, 2020 at the University of Louisville Hospital.
He was born February 14, 1947 in Sparta, Georgia to the late John Henry & Iola Spencer Lundy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Carlton Lundy. John was a member of Mattie E. Coleman AME Zion Church in Knoxville and attended 3Trees Church after moving to Columbia. He was a United States Army Veteran and a former machine operator for Alfa Industries. He was an avid University of Tennessee Volunteers fan and loved his family.

Two Sons – Greg (Jenny) Lundy of Columbia & Curtis (Maria) Lundy of Knoxville
One Daughter – Tonya Clark of Knoxville
One Brother – Lonnie Frank Lundy of Atlanta
Nine grandchildren & five great-grandchildren
Funeral Service – Friday, September 18, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Gregory Sawyer delivering the eulogy
Burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery with full military honors presented by VFW Post 6097
Visitation after 11:00 A.M. Friday until time of the service
