Kenny Wayne “Rainmaker” Powell, 61, of Columbia, Kentucky, departed from this earthly life to his heavenly home on January 2, 2024 in Glasgow, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walker McKinney “Wormy” Powell. Kenny was a member of New Life for the Nations Church, a life-long enthusiast of Semi Trucks, big fan of Elvis, Gunsmoke and The McCoy’s. He was known for his witty humor and kind heart.

One son and daughter-in-law – Wesley and Courtney Powell of Bowling Green
Two grandsons – River and Nolan (who were the light of his life) and expecting a granddaughter, Everly in February 2024.
One brother and sister-in-law – Bobby and Jennifer Powell of Columbia
Two very special nieces – Heather McQueary (Austin) of Russell Springs, Mallory Beard (Tristan) of Columbia
A bonus son – Jeremy McClister (Rachel) of Campbellsville
