Larry Gene Conover

Larry Gene Conover, 64, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Thursday, December 21, 2023 at U.K. Chandler Hospital in Lexington

He was born May 1, 1959, in Adair County, to Alva Gene and the late Cathy Johnson Conover.  In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Becky Conover Strange.

Larry was a member of Columbia Church of God and a retired truck driver.

Survivors include:

His wife – Pat Mann Conover of Columbia

One daughter –Dana Holmes (Michael) of Columbia

One son – Josh Conover (Angie) of Columbia

His father – Rev. Gene Conover of Columbia

Two brothers – Gary Conover and Jon Conover both of Columbia

Two sisters – Teresa Thompson of Georgetown and Pam Popplewell of Russell Springs

Seven grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren

Funeral service – Sunday, December 24, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home

Burial in Freedom Cemetery

Visitation after 5:00 P.M. Saturday

Casket Bearers:  Brandon Holmes, Jared Conover, Koh Kroaner, B.J. Huff, Ryan Herron, Jordan Simpson
