Lawrence Cladus Pickett

Lawrence Cladus “L.C.” Pickett, 90, of Edmonton, Kentucky, died Sunday, January 22, 2023 at 8:55 A.M. at T.J. Samson Community Hospital Emergency Room in Glasgow.

He was born December 10, 1932, in Adair County, to the late Felix and Vivian Pickett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Beatrice Meadows Pickett and by his second wife, Janet Pickett, one son, Larry Pickett, one great-grandchild, Kali Pickett, six brothers, and four sisters.

L.C. was of the Baptist faith, retired from Sapp’s Bakery and worked at Phillps 66 both in Columbus, Indiana.

Survivors include:

One son – James Tony Pickett and his wife Barbara of Edmonton

A daughter-in-law – Debbie Pickett of Columbus, Indiana

10 grandchildren – Pete Pickett, Jamie Pickett, Joe Miller, Jeremy Pickett, Coleton Pickett, Amber Cox, Clint Pickett, Josh Pickett, Shelia Parker, Brandon Pickett

24 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Edwards officiating

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation after 9:00 A.M. Thursday
