Lillian Mae "Lynn" (Patton) Curtis

Lillian Mae “Lynn” Curtis, 72, of Columbia, died Thursday, January 19, 2023 at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville from injuries received in an accident in Elizabethtown.

She was born May 15, 1950, in Adair County, to the late Addison and Delta Pierce Patton.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Tyler Curtis and Brandon Back. 

Lynn was a member of Columbia Baptist Church and had recently been attending Egypt Christian Church and most recently worked at McDonald’s in Columbia.

Her husband, Lloyd Eugene “Gene” Curtis, Sr., died on Monday, January 23, 2023

Survivors include:

Three children – Mary Kaye Graham of Columbia, Lloyd Eugene Curtis, Jr. and Lori Ann Back both of North Vernon, Indiana

Two brothers – Jim A. Patton and Willie Patton both of Columbia

Two sisters – Rosemary Harmon and Starr Tweedy both of Columbia

Eight grandchildren – Amy Lynn Nichols, Mary Ellen Howard, Tyler, Britney, Baylee, Chrissy, Dalton and Wesley Curtis, Justin Back

Eight great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends

Funeral service for Lynn and Gene Curtis will be Friday, January 27, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Patton officiating

Burial in Columbia Cemetery

Visitation after 5:00 P.M. Thursday
