Lorene S. Vance, 93, formerly of Columbia, died Thursday, June 5, 2014 at the West River Health Campus in Evansville, Indiana

She was born April 5, 1921, in Adair County, to the late Howard and Eula Garrett Spears, was the widow of Franklin Vance, a member of Columbia Baptist Church and retired from the Adair County School System after 30 years.

Survivors include:
Her daughter – Sue (Alan) Steele of Evansville, Indiana
One grandson – Joel (Andrea) Steele of Evansville, Indiana
Three great-grandchildren – Drew, Ryan & Lee Steele
Several other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with
Rev. J. Alvin Hardy officiating

Burial in Columbia Cemetery

Visitation after 10:00 A.M. Sunday
