Lulabell Goode

Lulabell Goode, 86,of Columbia, Kentucky, died Monday, July 28, 2025 at Casey County Hospital in Liberty

She was born August 30, 1938, in Adair County, to the late Milford and Laura Burton Overstreet. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Marshall Goode, a son-in-law, Jerry Compton, one brother, Howard Overstreet and two sisters, Iva Jones and Montra Sanders.  She was a member of Tabernacle Christian Church and had been attending Columbia Christian Church for the last several years.

Survivors include:

Two daughters – Cindy Compton of Columbia and Sandra Abernathy (Tim) of Russell Springs

A sister-in-law - Mary Goode of Nicholasville

Five grandchildren – Matthew Compton (Jerrica), Taylor Abernathy, Jerry Wayne Compton, Kelli Parson (Patrick), Michael Compton

Four great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, several other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. John Davis officiating

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation after 11:00 A.M. Thursday
