Luzena Hamlett

Luzena Hamlett, 78, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Friday, January 24, 2025 at her home.

She was born April 28, 1946, in Adair County, to the late John and Eliza Ellen Murrell Hamlett.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Porter, Kelly and James Hamlett, Polly England and Edra Reliford.

She was a member of Columbia First Church of the Nazarene and retired from Fruit of the Loom.

Survivors include:

Three nieces – Katina Furkin (Terry) of Milltown, Belinda Gordon (Jason) of Edmonton and Kim Hamlett of Columbia

Two nephews – Jason Reliford (DeAnna) and Richard “Shorty" Hamlett (Sharon) all of Columbia

Funeral service – Monday, January 27, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation after 5:00 P.M. Sunday

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to Hospaurs-Green River which can be left at the funeral home.
