Lynn Franklin Obituary

Lynn Franklin, 53, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Thursday, May 21, 2026 at his home, surrounded by his family, after an illness.

He was born November 14, 1972, in Louisville, Kentucky.  He was preceded in death by his father, Harlon Franklin.


Lynn was Owner of Lynn’s Service Center on Jamestown Street for many years, loved Antiquing, his fur babies and his family above all.


Survivors include:


His mother – Arcola Estes Franklin of Columbia


His wife – Pheobie McQueary Franklin of Columbia


One son – Wyatt Franklin (Amber Booher) of Columbia


Two daughters – Heather Sneed (Jordan) and Shelby King (Kim) all of Columbia


A bonus daughter – Haley Scott (Zach) of Columbia


Two brothers – Jerry Franklin (Margie) of Bowling Green and Billy Franklin (Robin) of Columbia


One sister – Brenda Bardin (Jackie) of Columbia


Three bonus grandchildren – Easton, Emmalyn and Ellison


His father-in-law and mother-in-law – Eugene “Bimbo” and Hilda McQueary of Columbia


Several other relatives, customers and friends


Funeral service – Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Roy officiating


Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery


Visitation after 2:00 P.M. Monday
