Mae (Tucker) Sneed

Mae Tucker Sneed, 76, of Knifley, Kentucky, died Sunday, May 5, 2024 at 11:46 P.M. Summit Manor Nursing Home in Columbia.

She was born June 7, 1947, in Adair County, to the late O’Connell and Gussie Emma Perkins Tucker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Sneed, a grandson, Caleb Kyle Sneed and the following siblings, Norma Jean Tucker, Herman Tucker, Sam Tucker, Joene Tucker, and Treva Warren.

Mae was a member of Lighthouse Tabernacle Church in Knifley and a homemaker

Survivors include:

Two sons – Neal Sneed of Columbia and Gerald Sneed (Kay & her brother, Timothy James) of Russell Springs

One brother – Danny Dale Tucker of Knifley

 A Brother-in –law – Bill Warren of Knifley

A Sister-in-law – Paulette Tucker of Knifley

Two grandsons – Jacob Sneed of Columbia and Joseph Sneed (Bailey) of Monticello

Two Great granddaughters – Raelynn Nicole Sneed and Laura Leigh O’Neal Sneed

Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Thursday, May 9,  2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Jody Perkins and Bro. James Walker officiating

Burial in Jones Chapel Cemetery

Visitation after 4:00 P.M. Wednesday

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the church of your choice or to Kosair Children’s Hospital
