Martha Raye (Stanton) Foster

Martha Raye Foster, 82, of Milltown, Kentucky, died Friday, February 20, 2026, at Summit Manor Nursing Home.

She was born June 30, 1943, in Russell County, to the late Hollan and Emma Foley Staton.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Ray Foster, two brothers, Gary Stanton and Larry Stanton and two sisters, Claudette McGowan and Nancy Foster.

Survivors include:

Three daughters – Lisa Garrett of Portland, Tennessee, Sherry Hancock of Milltown and Sandy Smith (Jerry) of Milltown

Five grandchildren – Timothy Bottoms (Ashley), Samantha Byrd, Tiffany Foley (Matt), Dariann Updike (John), Travis Bottoms (Katilyn)

10 great-grandchildren along with several other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Monday, February 23, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Jared Conover officiating

Burial in Freedom Cemetery

Visitation after 4:00 P.M. Sunday

Casket Bearers – Timothy Bottoms, Travis Bottoms, Jason Byrd, Isaiah Foley, Jordan Foley, Daniel Foley
