Martha Akin (Pierce) Cundiff

Martha Akin Cundiff, 86, of Bowling Green, formerly of Columbia, died Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.

She was born April 3, 1938, in Adair County, to the late George and Mary Cabbell Pierce.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Rev. Bobby Akin, her daughter, Cindy Akin Hughes and a grandson, Seth Akin.  She was of the Baptist faith, formerly worked at Fruit of the Loom and the Dollar General Distribution Center.

Survivors include:

Her husband – Randy Cundiff of Bowling Green

Three sons – Bruce Akin (Sonya) of Campbellsville, Timmy Akin (Michele) of Anchorage, Alaska and Matthew Akin of Bowling Green

Four grandchildren – Nathan, Josh Akin, Bobby Miller, Aislynn Akin

13 Great-Grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren

Funeral service – Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Landis officiating

Burial in Antioch Cemetery

Visitation after 10:00 A.M. Saturday
