Mary Mildred Grigsby

Mary Mildred Grigsby, age 94, passed to her Heavenly Home on September 19th, 2023.

She was married to Elmer Grigsby for 70 years and was a devoted wife and loving mother.

Her immediate family included her husband, two daughters, Sandra (Brown) and Anita (Rich), son-in-law, Mike Rich, 5 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Mary Mildred (named after both of her grandmothers), and her siblings were born in Kentucky.  As a teenager, she delivered the mail in Cane Valley on horseback.  She and Elmer were also married in Cane Valley.

After moving to Indiana, she later retired from General Motors in Anderson, where she was a faithful church member.

She passed in Alabama where she lived 40 years.

Graveside service at Cane Valley Cemetery, in Cane Valley, Kentucky on  Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 10:30 A.M.

Burial to follow the service
