Mary Rosaline Sexton, 84, of the Leatherwood community of Adair County, died Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at TriStar Hospital in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
She was born February 6, 1940, in Adair County, to the late Odford and Ethel Montgomery Reece. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Howard Sexton and her brother, Odford Reece, Jr.
She was a member of 3Trees Church and a homemaker.
Survivors include:
One daughter – Sonja Reeder (Perry) of Columbia
Three sons – Mendel Sexton (LaGene) and Bruce Sexton (Shannon) all of Columbia, Mark Sexton (Alison) of Bowling Green
Eight grandchildren – Miranda Reeder, Brandon Sexton, Brooke Byers, Bradley Sexton, Britnee Sexton, Ann-Riley Sexton, Meridith Lee, Tyler McKinney
Eight great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild along with several other relatives and friends
Funeral service – Sunday, December 15, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Pastor Johnny Hood officiating
Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery
Visitation after 10:00 A.M. Sunday
