Mason "Mickey" Stanley Smith, Jr.

Mason Stanley “Mickey” Smith, Jr, 71, of Columbia, KY died Friday, October 31, 2025 at U of L Hospital in Louisville.

He was born November 29, 1953 in Ogden, Utah and was preceded in death by his parents, Mason Stanley Smith, Sr. and Deloris Hare Braswell. Mickey was a US Navy veteran and a retired truck driver.

Survivors include:

One daughter – Carmela Smith of Gastonia, North Carolina

One son – James Dalton Smith of Colorado Springs, Colorado

One sister – Marcella Hodges of Columbia

Two brothers – Michael Smith (Debbie) of Wilkesboro, North Carolina and Mitchell Smith (Cindy) of Ferguson, North Carolina

Cremation has been chosen and the family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date
