Maylene Kelsay, 70, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Thursday, December 25, 2025 at her home


She was born February 17, 1955, in Adair County, to the late Ed and Opal Keith Spencer.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Junior Kelsay on February 10, 2025


Survivors include:


Three sons – Carl Dwayne Kelsay, David Allen Kelsay (April Stotts), Stephen Allen Kelsay (Haley) all of Columbia


One daughter – Charlotte May Kelsay (Joseph Harrison) of Columbia


Two brothers – Leon Spencer and Demon Spencer both of Cundiff


Five sisters – Faylene Smith of Cundiff, Marlene Rooks, Joyce Loy, Donna Ford and Dorothy Murphy all of Columbia


11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a great-grandchild on the way


Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends


Funeral service – Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Mitchell Eggers officiating


Burial in Freedom Cemetery


Visitation after 5:00 P.M. Monday


Casket Bearers – Leon Spencer, Demon Spencer, Brandon Kelsay, Nicklas Kelsay, Nathan Kelsay, Jerry Ford
