Montra (Murrell) Keen

Montra Keen, 89, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at TJ Health/Columbia.

She was born January 8, 1933, in Adair County, to the late Rollin and Trannie Russell Murrell.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn S. Keen on May 8, 1987, one son, Michael Glenn Keen, one brother, Tommie Murrell and one sister, Mary Russell Baise.

Ms. Keen was a member of Columbia Christian Church for 68 years and a retired Educator after teaching for over 35 years.

Survivors include:

One daughter and son-in-law – Alice and Mike Curry of Columbia

One son and daughter-in-law – Stephen and Mary Keen of Columbia

Four grandchildren – Kyle Curry, Katherine Curry, Molly Miller and husband Trent and Luke Keen

One great-grandchild – Glenn Miller

Several other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Friday, May 13, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Patton, Bro. John Davis and Bro. Adam Shepard officiating

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation after 5:00 P.M. Thursday

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Gideon Bible plan or Green River Animal Shelter would be appreciated.  These can be made at the funeral home.
