Nellie Karnes age 95 of Columbia, Kentucky passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022 at the UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington, KY. Nellie was born on September 11, 1926 in Adair County, KY to the late Bob and Edith (Watson) Watson. She was a member of Plum Point Baptist Church and a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Winfrey Karnes, one brother Raymond Watson, one sister Maxine Allred, one-step brother Coy Watson, and one step-sister Ethel Robertson
Survivors Include:
One Daughter- Linda Pendleton of Columbia, KY
One Grandchild- Tracy Jones of Columbia, KY
Two Great Grandchildren- Courtney Green and Brittney Green
and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends
Funeral service – Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY with burial in Mt. Carmel Cemetery
Family requests visitation on Wednesday, June 15th from 11 A.M. till service time at 1 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home
