Norman Ray Hurt

Norman Ray Hurt, age 85, of Louisville passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Baptist Health in Louisville.

He was born December 12, 1939 in Cook County, Illinois to the late Paul and Evelyn Janes Hurt but spent most of his childhood in Adair County. He was Chemical Operator at Zeon Chemicals until his retirement and was a veteran having served in the United States Army. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one brother: Donald Hurt.

His wife of 50 years- Margaret Jones Hurt

One son: Jason Hurt (Lindsay)

One daughter: Jessica McClure (Keith)

Grandchildren: Isabelle Hurt, Scarlett Hurt, Henry Hurt, and Kaylee McClure

Step-grandchildren: Jaxon Elwell and Kit Elwell

Plus, a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service- Friday, July 18, 2025 at 1 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Harry Curry officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Visitation is requested from 9:30 A.M until the funeral hour.
