Orby Yarberry, 89, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Monday, June 23, 2025 at Summit Manor Nursing Home.

He was born December 28, 1935, in Adair County, to the late Johnny Ray and Annis Marie Overstreet Yarberry.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Bernice and Edwin Bryant and three step-sons, Gary Scott, Tommy Scott and Ronnie Scott.

Orby was a member of Kelleyville Community Church, a retired farmer, a well-known and liked Produce Stand Operator, who enjoyed talking to his customers and friends.

Three sons – Jason Yarberry (Jennifer) of Columbia, Donnie Yarberry of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jeff Yarberry of Lexington

One daughter – Debbie Yarberry of Bowling Green

One sister – Geneva Roy (Lilburn) of Columbia

One step-daughter – Hilda McQueary (Arthur) of Columbia

Three step-sons and four step-daughters-in-law – Jimmy Scott (Linda) of Fairdale, L.T. Scott (Angie), Tony Scott (Riva) and Norma Scott all of Columbia

Seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, five step grandchildren and six step great-grandchildren

Funeral service – Friday, June 27, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Matt Pendleton officiating

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation after 4:00 P.M. Thursday
