Philip M. Duvall

Philip M. Duvall, 79, of Indianapolis, Indiana, died Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born March 24, 1946, in Adair County, to the late Paul and Katie Cheatham Duvall.  Philip was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Indianapolis and a former member of New Zion Baptist Church in Columbia, a US Army Veteran, serving in Vietnam, a graduate of Indiana University and Purdue University and retired from Allison Transmission.

Survivors include:

One son – Jason Duvall of Indianapolis, Indiana

One sister – Juanita Faye Duvall of Columbia

One uncle and aunt – Wilburn and Nina Cheatham of Campbellsville

The mother of his son – Louise Duvall of Indianapolis, Indiana

Graveside service – Monday, April 28, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at New Zion Cemetery with Rev. James T. Washington, III, officiating

Burial to follow
