Rachel Grant, 94, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 4:00 A.M. at her home.

She was preceded by her parents, Lucian and Dorthy Burris Moss, her husband, Lawrence “Dick” Grant, one son, David Lane Grant and two grandchildren, Stewart Randal Grant, Jr. and Chris Grant.

Rachel was a member of Pickett’s Chapel Church, a farmer and homemaker.

Survivors include:

One son – Stewart Randal Grant of Columbia

Five grandchildren – Nathaniel Grant, Bonnie Grant, Eric Grant, Amy Whitaker, Ashley Grant

Nine great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren

Several other relatives and friends

Graveside service – Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Columbia Cemetery ( section by Judicial Center) with Minister Michael Tanksley officiating

Burial to follow

There will be no visitation at the funeral home

Grissom-Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements
