Randall Willis Jones Obituary

Randall Willis Jones, 90, formerly of Adair County, died Friday, May 22, 2026 at Baptist Health Hospice in Louisville, Kentucky.


He was born March 22, 1936, in Cumberland County, to the late Lenis and Tinie Estes Jones.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Jean Loy Jones on June 3, 2023 and three brothers, Clayton Jones, Stanley Jones and Marcus Jones.


He served his country in the U.S. Army and retired from the Corps of Engineers.


Survivors include:


Two sons – Barney Jones (Laura) of Louisville and Gregary Jones (Susan) of Palestine, Texas


One brother – Harry Jones of Crestwood


One sister – Margaret Hurt of Louisville


Five grandchildren – Andrew Jones, Paul Jones, Sara Blackshear, Ben Jones and Will Jones


Ten great-grandchildren – Cohen, Sidney, Wyatt, Katlee, Lochlyn, Maisie, Ryleigh, Lorelei, Van and Beau


Several other relatives and friends


Funeral service – Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at  Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. John Tupman officiating


Burial in Mt. Carmel Cemetery with full military honors presented by V.F.W. Post 6097


Visitation after 9:00 A.M. Wednesday
