Rhoda (Knifley) Schubert

Rhoda Sue Schubert, 83, of Wheaton, IL , died Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at her home.

She was born September 23, 1940, in Adair County, to the late Murrie and Opal Hovious Knifley.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Schubert, an infant daughter, Kathy Garrett and two brothers, C. R. “Buddy” Knifley and Charles Wallace Knifley.

Survivors include:

Three sons – Anthony Wayne Garrett (Christine) of Wheaton, IL, Daryl Garrett of Columbia and Curt Alfred Schubert of Bridgeview, IL

One daughter – Shelly Schubert of Springfield, MO

One brother – Don Knifley (Betty) of Columbia

Ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren

Funeral service – Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Adam Shepard officiating

Burial in Columbia Cemetery

Visitation after 11:00 A.M. Sunday
