Obituary
Richard (Tite) Rogers of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Monday, September 26, 2022 at Baptist Health Hospital in Louisville.
He was born October 15, 1938 in Adair County, Kentucky. He was a graduate of Adair County High School, member of the former 18th Street Baptist Church, and a Master Mason of the Shively Lodge #951, Grand Lodge of Kentucky F. & A.M., and a 32nd degree Mason in the Louisville Scottish Rite. As a master plumber for 59 years, he worked for Mose Franck and was the owner of Rogers Plumbing.
He was preceded in death by his parents Coy Rogers and Lois (Smith) Rogers of Columbia Kentucky, his sons Christopher Rogers, Richard (Chuck) Parker Rogers, Lee John Rogers, and his brothers Billy C. Rogers and Jimmy Todd Rogers.
Survivors include his wife Arlene Parker Rogers of Louisville, Kentucky, sisters Hilda Speck (Mike) of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and Jane Coomer of Louisville, Kentucky, nieces Debbie Hall, Angela Wilcox and Sarah Coomer, Anne (Meador) Combs, nephew Doug Meador, and several cousins and great-nieces and nephews and many friends.
The memorial service will be Sunday, October 2, 2022 at 1:00 PM CST at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Adair County, Kentucky with Bro. Jamie Bryant officiating
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home in Columbia, Kentucky is in charge of the arrangements.
