Ricky Padgett

Ricky Allen Padgett, 59, of Jamestown, Kentucky, died Friday, May 17, 2024 at his residence.

He was born July 8, 1964, in Adair County and was a former factory worker, working at Fruit of the Loom and Cox Interior.  He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Padgett, his wife, Sharon Franklin Padgett and a sister, Anita Parker.

Survivors include:

His mother – Carolyn Roberts Padgett of Columbia

Two sons – Ricky Franklin and Derek Padgett both of Columbia

Five daughters – Ashley Franklin, Brittany Franklin, Leslie Dial and Tasha Padgett all of Columbia and Tiffany Franklin of Russell Springs

Three brothers – Larry Joe Padgett and Jeff Padgett both of Russell Springs, Jerry Lynn Padgett of Ohio

One sister – Sue McQueary of Russell Springs

14 Grandchildren and expecting his first great-grandchild soon

Funeral service – Monday, May 20, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Roberts officiating

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation after 9:00 A.M. Monday
