Robert Smith

Robert Allen Smith, 66, of Columbia, died Thursday, November 26, 2020 at Norton Hospital in Louisville. 

He was born September 12, 1954 in Adair County to the late Richard & Frances Dial Smith.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Robin Sneed Smith in January 2018.  Robert attended 3Trees Church and formerly worked at Osh Kosh & McCammish Manufacturing in Columbia, Fleetwood in Campbellsville and most recently at the Adair County Regional Jail. 

Survivors Include:

One son – Jaime Smith & his wife Rachel of Hodgenville

Five Grandchildren – Morgan, Lewis, Kannon, Carter & Hevan Smith

Twelve Sisters – Ruth Smith, Ruby (Jerry) Antle, Sandy (Danny) Antle & Margaret (David) Harden all of Columbia, Shirley (Jesse) Mings of Campbellsville, Nancy (Junior) Bennett, Mary Helen (Donnie) Bennett & Betty Sue Bennett all of Glasgow, Katherine Bennett, Clara (Arvist) Rodgers & Alice (Dennis) Robinson all of Mooresville, IN & Barbara Smith of Martinsville, IN

A drive-in funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 12 Noon at 3Trees Church in Russell County with Bro. Johnny Hood & Bro. Curt Hill officiating.  Attendees are required to stay in your vehicles and will be instructed to turn your vehicle’s radio to a certain channel after arriving.    

A drive through visitation will be held Monday, November 30, 2020 from 5 – 6 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home. 

Burial will be held privately in Moore Cemetery
