Sallie M. Cook

Sallie M. Cook, 93 of Knifley, Kentucky, died Friday, December 26, 2025 at the home of her daughter.

She was born September 13, 1932, in Taylor County to the late Millard Lee and Artie Mae Janes England. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Cook, Sr., a daughter, Connie Perkins, a great-grandchild, Austin Brice Cook and brothers, J.T. England, Kenneth England, Lynwood England, Millard Lee England, Jr., Bobby England and sister, Eora Tucker.  Mrs. Cook was a homemaker and a life-long member of Plum Point Baptist Church.

Survivors include:

One son – William Lee Cook, Jr of Knifley

One daughter – Sandy Cook Maxey of Columbia

Six grandchildren - Glenn Troy, Chris, Gracie, B.J., Lee and Benjamin

Nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild

Special niece – Teresa Mae Tucker

And a host of other relatives and friends

Funeral service -   Monday, December 29, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Willis officiating

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. until time for the service at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home
