She was born July 9, 1973 in Taylor County and was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Murray and her father, Roy Norris.

Shelley is remembered as a Cashier at the former Gate Petroleum Store and at WalMart

Her husband – Ricky Kerns of Columbia

Two step-children – Kenzie Kerns (Cheyenne) of Oklahoma and Randi Jordan (Josh) of Russell Springs

One sister – Angela Murray (Brent Lasley) of Columbia

One step-grandchild – Kenley Kerns

One niece and one nephew – Vanessa Cooper and Gary Cooper both of Columbia

One great-nephew and one great-niece – Kyran and Khloe

Sisters-in-law and brother-in-law – Kathy Kerns Rogers, Claudia Williams (Sammy Hughes), Scotty Kerns (JoJo)

Two aunts – Debbie Taylor and Virginia Redmon

Funeral service – Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Withers officiating

Burial in Grant Cemetery at Glens Fork

Visitation after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday
