Shirley (Patton) Watson

Shirley Watson, 84, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Sunday, January 4, 2026 at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee

She was born May 22, 1941, in Urbana, Illinois, to the late James Lewis and Marjorie Finley Patton.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Glen Watson on March 21, 2008.

She was a member of Charity Baptist Church and a Hairdresser

Survivors include:

Two special cousins – Peggy Graves of Louisville and Yvonne Aguiar of California

Her special chosen family – Joey, Kelly and Tanner Caldwell, Kyndal, Drake and Palmer Bishop

Several other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. David Karnes officiating

Burial in Columbia Cemetery

Visitation after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday
