Terry Wayne Petty

Terry Wayne Petty, 60, of Russell Springs, Kentucky, died Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 4:32 P.M. at Select Specialty Hospital in Danville

He was born May 24, 1965, in Adair County, to the late Earl McCoy “Toy” and Hazel Earls Petty.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Dakota Petty and two sisters, Linda Turner and Geraldine Wall.

Terry was a member of Purdy Separate Baptist Church and owner of Petty Logging

Survivors include:

His wife – Patricia Curry Petty of Russell Springs

His daughter and son-in-law – Ashley and Jonathan Bernard of Russell Springs

One brother – Earl Petty of Columbia

Two sisters – Bernice Jessie of Edmonton and Brenda Turner of Columbia

Five grandchildren – Adalynn Bernard, Levi Bernard, Garrett Petty, Chase Petty, Ashlyn Petty

Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Monday, September 8, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Jamie Bryant and Bro. Avery Russell officiating

Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Russell County

Visitation after 10:00 A.M. Monday
