Valenia (Taylor) Johnson

Valenia Taylor Johnson, 70, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Friday, July 25, 2025 at Summit Manor Nursing Home

She was born December 12, 1954, in Adair County, to the late David Lee and Annabelle Shirley Taylor.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Telica Taylor and two sisters, Bonda Taylor and Anna Nell Smith.

Valenia was a member of New Grace Fellowship, worked at Osh Kosh B’Gosh and for 13 years was employed by Independent Living

Survivors include:

Her husband – David Johnson of Columbia

One son – Taran Taylor of Columbia

Six step-children – Donte’, Leondre, Shawnette, Shondeveron, Zachery, Ronelle

Three brothers – Kevin Taylor (Lisa) of Somerset, Danny Taylor of Columbia, Erik Stapleton of Brandenburg

One sister – Rhonda Taylor of Bowling Green

Three grandchildren – Ta’Leahah Taylor, Travez Taylor, Aaran Taylor (Madison)

Funeral service – Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. Eastern Time at Campbellsville First Baptist Church, 704 E. Broadway, Campbellsville, with Rev. K.F. Tuck delivering the Eulogy

Burial in Crown Hill Cemetery in Campbellsville

Visitation after 11:00 A.M (Eastern Time) Wednesday at the Church
