Vickie Gale (Smith) Petty

Vickie Gale Petty, 72, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the home of her daughter in Burbank, Illinois.

She was born May 1, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late James and Rachel Keith Smith.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Dean Petty on May 14, 2024, two daughters, Deana Petty and Lisa Petty Cooper and a grandson, Derrick Pickett.  Vickie was a former Associate at WalMart.

Survivors include:

One daughter – Shelia Richard (William) of Burbank, Illinois

Two sons – Wayne “Pokus” Smith and Troy Petty (Amber) all of Columbia

Nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, several other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Sunday, September 22 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Jeremy Bunch officiating

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation after 5:00 P.M. Saturday
