Vola Bailey Bennett Obituary

Vola Mae Bailey Bennett, 80, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Friday, July 31, 2020 at 3:35 A.M. at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville.

She was born October 7, 1939, in Metcalfe County, to the late Luther Delphus “Plum” and Sallie Gertrude Dickson Bragg, the widow of Stanley Bailey, a member of Big Creek Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Carhartt.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Earl Bragg and one sister and brother-in-law, Dottie & Gary Coffey.

Survivors include:

One daughter – Amanda (C.J.) Hadley of Columbia

One step-daughter – Sherry (Allen) Remour of Bowling Green

One sister – Lois Wilson of Columbia

One sister-in-law – Ruby Bragg of Park City

Two grandchildren – Kylie Bailey and Kaden Hadley

Two step-grandchildren – Becky & Dana Remour

Several other relatives & friends

Funeral service – Sunday, August 2, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Rocky Morrison officiating

Burial in Moore Cemetery

Visitation after 5:00 P.M. Saturday
