Wayne Melton

Wayne Melton, 71, of the Glens Fork community, died Saturday, April 19, 2025 at his home.

He was born December 29, 1953, in Clinton County and was preceded in death by his mother, Regina Meed Melton.  Wayne was a Mechanic, Horse Trainer and a well-known Produce Stand Operator.

His wife – Barbara Ann Jeffries Melton of Glens Fork

Two sons – Chris Melton (Amy) and Patrick Jeffries (Katie) all of Glens Fork

Six grandchildren – Chance Melton, Corey Melton, Kendall Melton, Kara Jeffries, Colton Jeffries, Ava Jeffries

Two great-grandchildren – Maxsen Melton and Tucker Melton

A special niece – Ashley Harrison (Jimmy) of Columbia

Graveside service – Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Haven Hill Cemetery with Bro. Larry Brown officiating

Burial to follow

Visitation after 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at Haven Hill Cemetery

There will be no visitation at the funeral home
