Woodrow Franklin

Woodrow Franklin, 76, of Russell Springs, Kentucky, died Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Russell County Hospital

He was born March 10, 1948, in Adair County, to the late Joe Willie and Sally May Rogers Franklin.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Crawhorn Franklin, a daughter, Regina Franklin, two brothers, Jim and William Henry Franklin and a sister, Viola Jessie.

Woody was a member of Bloomington Chapel Church and a sawmill worker

Survivors include:

One son – Timmy Franklin (April) of Columbia

One daughter – Nancy Franklin of Russell Springs

One brother – Davis Franklin (Doris) of Columbia

One sister – Dolly Bragg of Columbia

Four grandchildren –Chris Franklin (Erica) of Columbia, Tyler Melson and his Dad, Johnny Melson of Russell Springs, Jaylon McFarland of Columbia, Areinna Soto (Bert) of Columbia

One great-grandchild – Josiah Soto of Columbia

Funeral service – Sunday, February 23, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Ralph Foster officiating

Burial in Columbia Cemetery

Visitation after 12 Noon Sunday
