Teresa Hatfield Burris, 61, of Columbia, died Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.  

She was born October 16, 1951, in Liberty, Kentucky, to the late Howard “Peanut” and Lillian Lane Hatfield.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny Burris on December 3, 1999.  She was a graduate of Casey County High School and Lindsey Wilson College and a retired 911 dispatcher and deputy jailer of Adair County.  She was an active, dedicated member of Adair County Jaycees and always assisted in and enjoyed the many associated activities involving the Adair County Fair.

Survivors Include:
Two Brothers – Phillip (Janis) Hatfield of Somerset & Randy Hatfield of Liberty
One Sister – Miranda Floyd of Campbellsville
Several other nieces, nephews and friends survive, along with her beloved dogs, Hershey, Poppy and Max
