Isiah “Shorty” Rodgers, 87, of the Portland Community of Adair County, died Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 2:05 P.M. at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville
He was born August 31, 1929, in Adair County, to the late Pierce and Lora Posey Rodgers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Augusta “Cricket” Rodgers and his sister, Zelphar Smith.
Shorty was a member of Tarter’s Chapel United Methodist Church and a farmer.

One great-nephew – Daniel (Jeannie) Smith

Two great-great nephews – Isaac and Oakley
Two great-great nieces – Kylee and Alivia
Funeral service – Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Withers and Bro. Darrell Coffey officiating
Burial in Tarter’s Chapel Cemetery
Visitation after 10:00 A.M. Thursday
